Where does outlook store emails?
Find where your emails are stored on your computer
Outlook 2003 on Windows XP:
c:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst
C:\users\[username]\Local\ Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst
To check where abouts Outlook is saving your data, go to:
Tools > Options > Mail Setup > Data Files
You will then see a list of all of your data files
If you can't see any of these files or folders it is often because they are hidden. In order to view hidden files open up My Computer and then click on "Tools" menu and select "Folder Options". Then select the "View" tab and click the radio button that says "Show hidden files and folders".
