Where do pandas live?

There are a few different species of panda, but the most commonly referred to panda is the Giant Panda. Due to forest clearing and farming the Giant Panda can now only be found in a few select mountain ranges in China. Sichuan in southwestern China is the main habitat for Giant Pandas, but they can also be found in the northwestern provinces Gansu and Shaanxi.

There are currently 266 Giant Pandas living in captivity around the world and estimated to be around 1,600 living in the wild.
